Madhouse to Animate New Casshern TV Series for Fall

The Madhouse animation studio has revealed a new anime series based on the Shinzo Ningen Casshan science-fiction classic on Thursday, the first day of Tokyo International Anime Fair 2008. The original anime series from Tatsunoko Production recounted the story of Casshan, a cyborg who rises against the robotic armies that have subjugated all of humanity. The series, tenatively titled just Casshern, is scheduled for this fall.
